When the AYA entered a new era of reunion planning and execution four years ago, significant program improvements and new or renewed partnerships yielded increasing success. Alumni continue to return in greater numbers each year, and they leave campus feeling reconnected to their classmates and the University. We realize our continued success is only possible with the help of literally hundreds of people, from student clerks to the Yale faculty, the dining hall staff, the custodial workers, and an amazing number of Yale departments and outside vendors who are part fo the reunion team.

On behalf of the riders, volunteers and staff of the Pan-Mass Challenge I would like to thank you and your entire crew for all of your work during the PMC weekend. The tenting for the event was once again flawless, with your crew getting all the equipment in the right places at the right times. And as always it was a pleasure working with you pre-event and all of your staff members during the event. This year's PMC was another record breaker with over 2,500 riders and 1,700 volunteers. While the weather cooperated through most of the weekend, the tents saved us during Sunday afternoon's downpours.

As you may know, because of the horrendous weather conditions last Saturday, our plans to hold the New York Yacht Club's 144th Regatta on the lower lawn were literally washed away. When we had to come up with an alternative plan, indeed you were the alternative plan. You prevented an eminent disaster from occurring for 700 people by acting promptly, effectively and with great professionalism to reconstruct the clubhouse to accommodate all of our guests.
Without your help, there would have been no regatta. For this, the Club is extremely grateful to Newport Tent. We consider you part of the NYYC family and sincerely hope to enjoy a continuing relationship with you for our future events.
The Commodore of New York Yacht Club was extremely pleased with the outcome of the event due in no small part to to you and your staff's extraordinary efforts.
